As Assistant Director of Strategy and Innovation at the Danielson Group, Dr. Akinyele can be seen leading the organization’s equity and inclusion program development and services.
Dr. Maria Akinyele served as professor at Teacher’s College Summer Principals Academy for four years, where she taught emerging leaders how to master the principles of adult learning and social justice to create people-centered learning environments for all. In addition to her heartfelt pursuits, Dr. Akinyele is currently a certified Emotional Intelligence Assessor at 6seconds.org.
Earned her Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center and certificate in Organizational Development and Change Leadership from Georgetown University

Maria also helps leaders train teachers how to be more culturally responsive. Maria also help with how to cultivate a true learning community.
